Matchpoint (2005)

MAY 30, 2006 | With John Perry, Ken Taylor

This Woody Allen film has lots of philosophical material to ponder, particularly regarding luck. Beyond the basic issue of basic luck, this movie brings up the issue of moral luck—for instance, is the man that kills his lover worse than the man who might have done so but was never put into that situation?  And finally the question of whether there is any justice in the universe.
