A friend recommended “You Won

A friend recommended “You Won’t Be Alone,” a Macedonian folkloric movie exploring philosophical issues, like is human nature a prison, can we live truthfully in a wretched world, what role does gender play, and what constitutes identity. Does life flow like a river or stand in one place? A poem disguised as a film. Nature, motherhood, friendship and love are lathered in awe. I was left intrigued by the phrase “everything means something else.” How would a philosopher crack that meaning? A form of non-duality?
